Job Summary
The Fleet Field Mechanic will perform quality work according to project specifications, practice safety rules, use hand and power tools safely, and report to and assist their supervisor. Responsibilities include making repairs to various systems and working both in a team environment and independently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year technical, vocational or trade school diploma in auto, truck, and/or heavy equipment is desired
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to utilize various electronic diagnostic equipment
- Make minor and major repairs to electrical systems
- Make minor and major repairs to hydraulic systems
- Make minor and major repairs to air conditioning systems
- Make minor and major repairs to gasoline and diesel systems
