Job Summary
Fleet Field Mechanic responsible for practicing safety rules, following verbal and written instructions, using hand and power tools safely, and reporting to the immediate supervisor. Perform quality work as per project specifications and manage tools and materials efficiently. Candidates should be able to work both independently and part of a team, be customer service driven, and capable of adapting to dynamic work assignments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical, vocational or trade school diploma or degree in auto, truck, and/or heavy equipment
- Ability to utilize various electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to make minor and major repairs to electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, gasoline and diesel systems
Desired Qualifications
- Fluid Power Society certification
- ASE certification
Additional Requirements
- Must work well as part of a team
- Must be highly motivated and customer service driven
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Work assignment may be dynamic and change often
