Job Summary
Fleet Engagement & Recruiting Specialist to attract qualified drivers, guide onboarding for Independent Contractors, and support driver engagement, retention, and growth within a Norfolk transportation network. Responsibilities include developing recruiting strategies; building a pipeline through networking, referrals, community outreach, and events; managing onboarding sessions; guiding drivers from application to vehicle placement; fostering positive driver relationships and addressing questions; collaborating with operations on engagement initiatives; maintaining recruiting/onboarding/retention records; monitoring hiring activity and reporting metrics; and supporting workforce development projects. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to drive driver success and growth in the network.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, workforce development, or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
