Job Summary
Transport students on scheduled routes and/or special excursions; enforce rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition; and ensure student safety during loading and unloading from vehicles. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, at least five years of driving experience, an excellent driving record for the last three years, a valid WA driver’s license and evidence of insurability, current First Aid/CPR, Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance, drug testing clearance, and successful completion of fleet driver training programs. Pre-employment physicals and periodic drug tests are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- At least five years' experience as a driver of a passenger car
- Excellent driving record free of infractions/accidents for the last three years
- Valid Washington Driver's License
- Evidence of insurability
- Valid First Aid/CPR Card
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
- Drug Testing Clearance
- Must Pass a physical exam upon hire and ongoing
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug/alcohol testing
