Job Summary
The Fleet Diesel Mechanic position requires a minimum of 3 years experience with diesel mechanics to service a fleet of 150 vehicles, heavy equipment, and trailers. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing scheduled maintenance, and coordinating repair schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience with diesel mechanics
- Excellent attention to detail and follow through
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow all OSHA standards and other safety standards
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be team oriented
Desired Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Experience in welding and/or fabrication
- 1st Aid and CPR certified
