Job Summary
The PACE Fleet Coordinator will manage daily vehicle assignments and fleet operations at a Franciscan Health PACE center, including onboarding and skill development for driving staff, monitoring fleet and technology usage, and tracking center-level fleet utilization trends. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation services for participants, adjusting routing and schedules in response to census or care team needs, resolving real-time logistical issues, enforcing fleet procedures, ensuring safe and compliant fleet activity via telematics, and serving as onsite preceptor to train and remediate safe driving practices for multiple disciplines. The role emphasizes delivering a positive participant experience through professional conduct and clear communication, and maintaining scheduled maintenance for fleet assets.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED - Required
- Associate's Degree - Preferred
- Driver's License - Required
- Auto Insurance - Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association - Within 90 Days of Hire - Required
- 1 Year Experience Working with Frail/Elderly - Required
- 1 Year Experience in a PACE program - Preferred
- 2 Years Experience transporting physically and cognitively impaired individuals - Preferred
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED: Up to 75%
