Fleet Automotive Mechanic

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems in cars and trucks using computerized scanners and specialized tools. Change oil, rotate tires, replace fluids, and service brakes while fixing or replacing worn parts like pads, belts, sensors, and shocks. Test drive vehicles or use equipment to verify repairs, then document all parts used and services performed for shop logs. Clearly explain mechanical issues and repair options to clients. Requires a valid driver's license, state inspector license, and full set of tools. ASE certifications and 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience are highly valued.
