Job Summary
Fleet & Transportation is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Fleet Administrative Student Worker to provide administrative support for daily fleet operations. The role assists with fleet reservation updates, maintains driver/vehicle/registration/insurance records, processes documents, handles email/phone support, data entry, and general office tasks. Responsibilities include reservation system updates, record maintenance, vehicle maintenance tracking, document organization and e-filing, data system updates, monitoring fleet emails/phone calls, producing spreadsheets and daily/recurring reports, updating training materials, and providing general backup support to Fleet staff. May drive GCU vehicles (e.g., passenger vans, golf carts). Must be a current GCU student eligible for student employment, available to work 20 hours per week, and able to work a daytime Monday–Friday schedule; requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Employment is contingent upon successful pre-employment screening and background checks. Required Qualifications
- Current GCU student eligible for student employment
- Able to work 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 7am-4pm
- Summer availability required and academic break preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule around class schedule
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable learning new software systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle information responsibly
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Must support and uphold the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission
- Enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor's or master’s program at GCU
- Minimum GPA 2.0 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate)
- Be in good financial and academic standing with the university
- Employment contingent upon satisfactory pre-employment screening including background check
