Job Summary
Manage fleet assets, material handling equipment, and transportation vehicles while developing policies, procedures, and schedules to ensure safe, efficient operations. Audit transportation and equipment invoices, forecast expenses, analyze variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities to support business objectives. Oversee carrier and vendor relationships, equipment contracts, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Logistics Department in Lodi, CA. This on-site role requires a valid driver's license and 10% travel to the Bay Area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5-8 years of relevant experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
- Knowledge of DOT and transportation compliance requirements
- Data analysis using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience managing equipment leases, maintenance contracts, and service providers
- Invoice auditing and financial analysis
- Ability to travel – 10% travel to Bay Area
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30lb
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or general awareness of transporting hazardous material
