Job Summary
Join a prominent general contracting team as a Concrete Mason, where you will manage concrete placement, finishing, and quality for commercial projects. This role requires hands-on skills in concrete work and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial flatwork
- Ability to finish concrete flatwork on large commercial construction projects
- Knowledge and understanding of concrete properties, mix designs, and curing methods
- Significant knowledge of finishing techniques and ability to perform screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and jointing
- Blueprint reading of construction drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools and mechanized finishing equipment (e.g., power trowels, laser screeds)
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Understanding of floor flatness standards and FF/FL tolerances for commercial slabs
- Reliable transportation
