Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional/OTR routes with System Transport. Responsibilities include transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay options, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, and other incentives). Transition/orientation pay and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), life insurance, PTO) are provided. Must maintain valid CDL-A, be 21+, possess a safe driving record, and meet background/drug/Clearinghouse requirements; tarp-handling capability (90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice) is required and tested during orientation. Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; multiple divisions/routes available; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
