Job Summary
CDL-A Flatbed Driver for Regional Route at System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment on regional/Otr routes in the western region, hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and other specialty metals. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety, and other). Transition and orientation pay included; home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, possess a safe driving record, and pass background, drug tests, and Clearinghouse checks. Able to tarp loads (roughly 90 pounds, twice) during orientation. Benefits available after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO accrual), with emphasis on safety and modern equipment. Hiring through May 31, 2026, with an emphasis on experience; preferred 1 year but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (demonstrated during orientation)
