Job Summary
Transport glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes using flatbed trucks. Secure loads and perform 70% of tarping duties, including lifting 90-pound tarps onto 5-foot platforms. Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to 34-hour reset schedules with home time off most weekends. Full-time drivers earn $1,095.18 to $1,980.65 weekly plus accessorial pay. Candidates must hold a Class A CDL, be 21+, and have 4+ months of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
