Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes (Division 290, Kansas City terminal). Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Competitive pay with weekly and annual earnings potential, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), EAP). Orientation/pay during onboarding; home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Requires lifting tarps and passing background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks; no pets allowed; riders allowed after 90 days for qualified drivers. LOCATION: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, US.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps on loads)
