Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional/OTR routes with System Transport. Operates flatbed hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay provided. Roles require physical tarp handling (up to 90 pounds) and adherence to safety/clearance requirements. The opportunity includes tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border-crossing pay, safety bonuses, and other accessorial pay depending on routes and experience. Driver type: Experienced CDL-A; Equipment: Flatbed; Route: Regional; Location: Division 290 (Council Bluffs, IA).
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (drag this during orientation)
