Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver wanted for regional routes with System Transport. Operate flatbed equipment across routes in the western region, secure loads with tarps, and maintain a safe driving record. Expect weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) and a $1,800 transition package including orientation pay. Role includes orientation, benefits enrollment after waiting period, and standard hiring requirements (CDL-A, 21+, clean background and drug test, Clearinghouse). Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; driving opportunities across Division 290 and multiple routes. Equipment is modern and safety-focused; riders and pet policies are described separately. Route types include regional and potential OTR assignments, with opportunities for pay variety based on experience and length of service.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
