Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional routes (Division 290) with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across western region/OTR. Competitive weekly and annual pay, comprehensive benefits, transition/orientation pay, and home time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Requirements include a valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse; ability to tarp loads (approx. 90 pounds) during orientation. Safe operation of modern flatbed equipment and adherence to safety policies are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- A Clean Drug Test required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
- System Transport tarps about 70% of loads
