Job Summary
System Transport is hiring experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional routes. Drive flatbed equipment on regional/OTR assignments, hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive weekly pay and full benefits, plus transition and orientation pay. Home time typically off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; potential for scalable pay with multiple pay components (mileage, accessorials, and bonuses). Must be physically able to tarp loads and pass required background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks. Prior flatbed experience preferred but not strictly required; the role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to company policies. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A required
- Must be 21 years or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Flatbed tarping experience or ability to tarp ~70% of loads
