Job Summary
Experience CDL-A flatbed truck driver for regional routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, plus accessorial pay and transition/orientation pay. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Requires lifting tarps (90 pounds) and tarping ~70% of loads; background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse check required. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and EAP. Onboarding includes orientation pay and transition package; equipment includes flatbed trailers. Eligible candidates: 21+, 4+ months driving, valid CDL-A, good driving record, and ability to lift tarps as described. The role is full-time, with regional routes and potential for varying pay based on experience and length of service.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (training during orientation)
