Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment, transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in the western region and OT/Regional routes. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, comprehensive benefits, and a transition/orientation package. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; drivers may be assigned to Division 290 in Kansas City, MO. Must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and have at least 4 months of driving experience with a safe driving history. Tarping loads (including 90-pound tarps) is required on roughly 70% of loads. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
