Job Summary
Join System Transport as a CDL-A Flatbed Regional Driver. Drive regional routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in the western region. Full-time role with competitive pay including weekly and annual pay, transitions and orientation pay, and extensive accessorial pay. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Portable benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO, and more. Equipment is flatbed; drivers must tarp loads, perform tarp-related duties, and pass a background check and drug screening. Minimum qualifications include valid Class A CDL, age 21+, 4+ months of experience, a safe driving record, and compliant Clearinghouse and tarps handling requirements. Route options, pay scales per mile, and incentive pay vary by experience and length of service. The terminal for Division 290 is in Kansas City, MO, with an additional location in Tinley Park, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarp handling)
