Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional driver opportunity with System Transport. Driver types include experienced CDL-A drivers on regional routes, hauling flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, and machinery. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay, transition/orientation pay, robust benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP, PTO after tenure), and strong home-time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Requires 21+ years old, valid CDL-A, 4+ months driving experience, safe driving record, no more than 6 jobs in 3 years, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse clearance; must be physically able to tarp loads (90 pounds) onto a 5-foot platform twice. Location is Harwood Heights, IL with regional/home-time specifics and multiple pay components dependent on experience and routes.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Ability to tarp loads (70% of loads)
