Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Responsibilities include transporting goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Competitive pay and benefits offered; home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Orientation includes tarp handling and load securement duties. Pay package includes weekly pay, annual earnings, and various accessorial pays; tarp pay and other bonuses may apply. Emphasis on safety, transition/orientation pay, PTO accrual, and comprehensive health/retirement benefits. Driver role requires 21+, CDL-A, driving experience, clean record, and successful background/drug tests; equipment includes flatbeds and tarps with physical tarp-lifting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Age 21 years or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
