Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver for a regional OTR-focused role with System Transport. Responsibilities include operating a flatbed truck to transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region. Eligible drivers will be CDL-A qualified with 4+ months of experience, a safe driving record, and ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. Compensation includes weekly pay, annual pay potential, and a transition/orientation package; benefits after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), life insurance, PTO). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Equipment is focused on flatbed with regional routes; the employer emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and driver support through a 24/7 driver portal and road service. This role requires physical readiness for tarp handling and adherence to company safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (demonstrated during orientation)
