Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Includes standardized pay packages and benefits, transition/orientation pay, and home time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving, safe driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse compliance. On orientation, drivers will be tested on tarp handling (lifting 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform) as ~70% of loads require tarping. Regional/OTR options available; Division 290 based in North Olmsted, OH, with KC, MO as terminal. Excellent benefits after eligibility waiting period; PTO accrual based on tenure. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping ~70% of loads)
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience but not necessary
