Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver for regional routes with System Transport. Role involves transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, tarp and other bonuses) and a robust benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, EAP). Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, and 4+ months driving experience; expect home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Orientation and transition pay provided; tarps must be lifted onto a 5-foot platform during orientation. Hiring ongoing for Division 290, Kansas City terminal.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
