Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes with System Transport. Transporting goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, stop, border crossing), and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO). Home time primarily on weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay included. Must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and meet standard hiring requirements including a safe driving record, background check, and clearinghouse. Flatbed-specific requirements include tarping loads (approximately 70% of loads) and ability to tarp 90 pounds twice during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarp on 70% of loads)
