Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver position for a regional route with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay package with weekly and annual pay, and a range of accessorial pays (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) plus transition/orientation pay. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; equipment includes modern trucks with safety tech. Requirements include valid CDL-A, age 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and a ability to lift 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform (demonstrated in orientation). Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
