Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver for regional routes with System Transport. Responsibilities include transporting flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, and other building materials. Requires 4+ months of driving experience and a valid Class A CDL; ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice; tarping on roughly 70% of loads. Competitive pay with weekly and annual figures, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; routes operated regionally (Division 290, Kansas City, MO) with multiple pay components and accessorial pay. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Age 21 or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
