Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver for regional routes with potential for OTR. Transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorials (tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and tarp-related pay). Home time mostly weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay included. Equipment and safety-focused operation with an emphasis on tarping loads (90-pound tarp handling required) and adherence to EEO commitments. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation (tarps ~70% of loads)
