Job Summary
Regional flatbed CDL-A driver needed to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed routes in the western US. Driver type: Experienced CDL-A; Route type: Regional; Home time: off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Competitive pay: weekly and annual pay ranges, plus accessorial pay (detention, tarp, border crossing, tarp pay), orientation/transition pay, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO). Training/transition pay and an orientation period are provided. A successful candidate will have a valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, a clean driving record, no more than 6 jobs in 3 years, ability to pass background and drug tests, and be able to tarp loads as required. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarp ~70% of loads) during orientation
