Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. The role focuses on operating flatbed equipment, tarping loads, and delivering glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region with periodic home time and a 34-hour reset. Compensation features weekly pay, annual pay ranges, and a transition/orientation pay package, plus accessorial pays and comprehensive benefits. Required: valid Class A CDL, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, safe driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse compliance; ability to lift 90 pounds to tarp loads; tarping on ~70% of loads; equal opportunity employer. Home time varies by division (Division 290, Kansas City, MO office).
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (training during orientation)
- System Transport will tarp about 70% of loads
