Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A Regional Driver opportunity with System Transport. Responsible for transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, transition/orientation pay, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, EAP). Must hold a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, and meet driving-record and background checks. Tarping loads (90-pound tarp) is required; tarps used on roughly 70% of loads. Home time includes weekends off with a 34-hour reset; Division 290 with terminal in Kansas City, MO. Numerous pay components include mileage-based rates ($0.57-$0.71/mi) and various accessorial pays; opportunities for growth and safety-focused operations are emphasized. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
