Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes. Responsibilities include transporting flatbed loads (glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, specialty metals) in the western region, with a focus on safe operation, load securement (tarps), and timely delivery. Competitive weekly and annual pay, full benefits after eligibility waiting period, transition/orientation pay, and a strong emphasis on home time (off most weekends with a 34-hour reset). Suitable for applicants with CDL-A and 4+ months experience; recent CDL-A grads considered.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping about 70% of loads)
