Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for a regional route with System Transport. Drives flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals; tarp loads and related pay (tarps, detention, safety bonuses, mileage) with comprehensive benefits. Home time includes a 34-hour reset, orientation pay, transition pay, PTO accrual, and various insurance options. Route options are regional with multiple pay components and a strong emphasis on safety and reliability. Location hints include Kansas City, MO and Blacklick Estates, OH. No experience is required beyond CDL-A one can qualify after recent graduates; strong emphasis on safe driving and compliance with clearinghouse and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Age 21 years or older
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience but not necessary
