Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional driver needed to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals on regional routes. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment, securing and tarp-ing loads, and maintaining safe driving practices. Competitive pay packages with weekly pay, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits (health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO) with home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Priorities include strong adherence to safety, meeting tarp/securement requirements, and fulfilling driving qualifications (CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months experience, clean Drug Test and Clearinghouse, acceptable background). Eligible drivers can expect regional routes, mileage-based pay, and various accessorial pay opportunities depending on experience and routes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to tarp 90-pound tarp onto 5-foot high platform twice (demonstrated during orientation)
