Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver for Regional Route at System Transport. Drives flatbed equipment on regional/OTR routes, transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Offers weekly and annual pay, transition/orientation pay, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and a focus on safety. Requirements include a valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse clearance, and ability to tarp loads (90 lb tarps on 5' platform) as part of orientation. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; equipment includes tarps and tarping on loads; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
- Ability to tarp about 70% of loads
