Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for a regional route with System Transport. Driver will operate flatbed equipment, hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region with weekend home-time for a 34-hour reset. Compensation includes weekly pay and annual pay ranges, plus accessorial pay (tarps, stops, detention, border crossing, safety, and over-dimensional pay) and a flatbed rate per mile ($0.57–$0.71 depending on experience). Orientation and transition pay are provided. Required: valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug screen, and Clearinghouse result; must be physically able to tarp loads (approximately 90 pounds) twice during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Age 21 or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Ability to lift 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
