Job Summary
AMERICA PROUD, FLATBED STRONG. CDL-A FLATBED DRIVER for REGIONAL ROUTES in the western region. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Full pay packages with weekly and annual earnings, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, tarp load handling) and comprehensive benefits. Home time with weekend resets; orientation/transition pay; health, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean record, and ability to tarp loads; multiple pay components and route options available.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
