Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity with System Transport for a regional route. Operate flatbed trucks hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and other loads. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, comprehensive benefits, orientation and transition pay, and generous home time (off most weekends for a 34-hour reset). Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months experience, and the ability to tarp loads during orientation. Fleet offers tarps on about 70% of loads, pay per mile, and multiple pay-adders (detention, safety, border crossing, tarp, etc.). Division 290 based in Kansas City, MO with home time variations by division; opportunities to work regional routes across the western US. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
