Job Summary
AMERICA PROUD, FLATBED STRONG – CDL-A FLATBED REGIONAL DRIVER needed to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals on regional/OTR routes. Flatbed equipment with pay package including weekly pay, diverse accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border-crossing, safety, over-dimensional), transition/orientation pay, PTO accrual, and comprehensive health/dental/vision/401(k) benefits. Must hold a valid CDL-A, be 21+, have 4+ months driving experience, meet background/clearance requirements, and be physically able to tarp loads. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; routes vary by division. No pets; riders allowed after 90 days. Software/tools include driver portal for payroll/trip data; equal opportunity employer. Location: Urbandale, IA, USA; remote not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (to be tested during orientation)
