Job Summary
Regional flatbed CDL-A driver role responsible for transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals on flatbed routes. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, and 4+ months of driving experience with a safe driving record; background check, clearinghouse check, and drug test must be clear. Tarping ability (lifting 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform) tested during orientation; compensation includes weekly pay and annual pay with transition/orientation pay and various accessorial pays. Home time typically off most weekends for a 34-hour reset, with emphasis on safety, benefits, and pay growth potential. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- Safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation (tarping about 70% of loads)
