Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver for regional routes with System Transport. Role emphasizes operating flatbed equipment, transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, and building supplies; requires 4+ months driving experience, a safe driving record, and completion of background and drug tests. Tarping loads (up to 90 pounds) is a specified duty; compensation includes weekly pay, annual pay, and various accessorial pays, with home time on weekends and orientation/transition pay. Eligible drivers may receive Health/Dental/Vision, 401(k) and matching, life insurance, PTO, and other benefits. Position demands on-site work with regional/home-time expectations and a focus on safety and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse report required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping loads)
