Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A regional driver role with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment on regional routes in the western US, hauling materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly pay, annual pay potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay provided. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, and 4+ months of driving experience with a clean record; tarping duties and safety/pay bonuses apply.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
