Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver on a regional route with System Transport. Operate flatbed equipment hauling materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Includes tarp work and tarping ~70% of loads; competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, accessorial, mileage, and transition/orientation pay. Home time typically with weekends off for a 34-hour reset; comprehensive benefits after eligibility waiting period; multiple route options and safety-focused culture. Eligible drivers have 4+ months of experience, a safe driving record, and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks; must be physically able to tarp loads and meet other listed requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- A Clean Drug Test required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
