Job Summary
System Transport is seeking an experienced CDL-A Flatbed Driver for a Regional Route in the western region. You will operate flatbed equipment, tarp loads, and transport goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. The role emphasizes competitive pay, a robust benefits package, transition/orientation pay, and strong home time with most weekends off for a 34-hour reset. TA/bonus and pay details include per-mile rates (.57-.71), weekly and annual earnings ranges, and accessorial pay. Home time varies by division (Division 290, Kansas City, MO terminal). Additional benefits cover health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO based on tenure, and more. Job requires CDL-A, age 21+, multiple driving-years experience (preferred 1 year), clean driving record, background check, drug screen, and successful tarp handling during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Drug test required
- Clearinghouse check required
- Physically able to tarp a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (training during orientation)
