Job Summary
Experienced CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes serving the western region. Drive for System Transport hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbeds. Competitive pay including weekly pay, annual pay ranges, and various accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses). Transition and orientation pay available; comprehensive benefits after waiting period. Requires ability to tarp loads (about 90 pounds) and maintain a safe driving record with DOT compliance. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; regional routes with potential for OT/R traffic; equipment maintained for safety. Eligible drivers may have 4+ months of experience, but 1 year preferred; background check and Clearinghouse checks required; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (demonstrated during orientation)
