Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver opportunity for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment on regional/OCR-style routes in Division 290, based out of Kansas City, MO, or Pickerington, OH. Responsibilities include transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals, with pay packages including weekly pay and annual earnings in the mid-to-upper six figures depending on experience and duration of service. Requires CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, safe driving record, background check, drug test, and a valid Clearinghouse result. Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice, with tarping required on about 70% of loads. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Physical ability to tarp about 70% of loads
