Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A Driver for regional routes. Drives flatbed equipment transporting items such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region with a focus on safety and timely delivery. Offers a competitive financial package including weekly pay, annual pay range, and accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border-crossing, and other bonuses). Home time is usually off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay provided. Equipment supports modern safety features and 24/7 driver support. Roles emphasize experience with flatbed loads, tarp handling (up to 90 pounds), and maintaining a clean driving record. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
