Job Summary
CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver for a Regional Route based in the Kansas City, MO area. Responsibilities include transporting flatbed loads of glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, etc.), orientation and transition pay, robust benefits, and strong home-time. Must have valid CDL-A, be 21+, have 4+ months driving experience, and pass background and drug tests. Role includes lifting tarps and operating as part of a safety-focused fleet with modern equipment; home time typically off most weekends with a 34-hour reset.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Age 21 or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Flatbed tarp experience (70% of loads)
